Well, this Friday was the West Chester Vintage Garage Sale!! The day didn’t exactly turn out the way I would have hoped. But in the end it was a fun day with a great turn out.
All week Bryan and I were gearing up for out first sale of the season and couldn’t wait to share of all my new products with the world. Come Thursday I get an email from the Garage Sale’s organizer, Richard, queue the depressing music and ominous lighting. His email said the sale might be CANCELLED due to rain!!! NO!!!

At first I thought, “the sale is in a parking garage that’s not going to effect people coming because they are covered.” But then I realized the rest of West Chester is not covered so why would people travel all the way into town to get drenched. Then we get an email saying the sale is still on and be prepared to arrive at 2:30 for setup. So, the entire time was thinking “No one is going to show because it’s raining and we are going to make no money and this is a complete waste.” Yes, I was being a negative Nancy and yes I was throwing a temper tantrum, but I wanted our first sale to be amazing.
It was amazing!! There was a great turn out and we made a bunch of sales. The best part of the day were our friends and family that came out to show their support. Thank you to all of you for believing in me and what I am trying to achieve, I truly value each and everyone of you.
